Farm data is one of the most valuable assets coming off the land. This charter sets out, in plain language, who owns it, who can see it, and the control you keep, today and as AgroBigGrow grows.

01Our principles

Everything AgroBigGrow does with data rests on six plain principles, inspired by farmer-first data frameworks such as the Ag Data Transparent standard:

You own the data

Your operation generates the data on your land, so it is your property. Using AgroBigGrow never transfers ownership to us or anyone else.

You can see what we collect

No hidden collection. The Privacy Policy lists every category of data we touch, and the app shows what's synced.

You choose what gets shared

Sharing with an FPO, lender or partner happens only when you switch it on: explicitly, per partner, per purpose.

You can revoke at any time

Consent is not a one-way door. Turn sharing off and the partner's access ends. No lock-in, no penalty.

You can export everything

Your complete records, from books and stock to payroll and production, export in portable formats whenever you want. Your data is never hostage.

You can delete everything

Delete records or your whole account, and they're gone from our systems, not just hidden. Backups roll off within 90 days.

02What this means in practice

  • Device first. Records are written to an encrypted on-device database the moment you make them. If you never turn on sync, your data never leaves your phone.
  • Encrypted everywhere. At rest on the device, in transit over TLS, and at rest in our cloud. A lost phone or an intercepted connection doesn't expose your books.
  • Your records outlive your subscription. If a Pro plan lapses, your data stays on your device and exportable. We never hold records ransom for payment.
  • Verifiable books. Payroll periods and vouchers are immutable once closed, so your history stands up to lenders, auditors and disputes.

03What we never do

  • Sell your data to advertisers, data brokers, input companies, or anyone else.
  • Share identifiable farm-level data with FPOs, lenders or agri-businesses without your explicit consent.
  • Use your ledgers to build advertising profiles or run third-party ad tracking.
  • Claim ownership of your data through terms-of-service fine print, perpetual licences or hidden data-sharing agreements.

04Sharing you control

Some of the most valuable things farm data can do (unlock a loan, prove a season's work to an FPO, settle a wage dispute) require sharing. When you choose to share:

  • You pick the partner and the exact scope (for example, one season's P&L, not your whole history);
  • The partner sees only what you shared, for the purpose you approved;
  • You can see who has access at any time, and revoke it in one tap;
  • Anything we publish or license at scale, like regional trend reports, is anonymised and aggregated first, so it can never be traced back to your fields.
The test we hold ourselves to

The value of your data should flow back to you, on your terms: better credit, better prices, better records. Not to whoever pays the most for it.

05Portability & deletion

Leaving should be as easy as joining. From the app you can:

  • Export your complete records in open, portable formats for your accountant, your records, or another tool;
  • Delete individual records, whole modules, or your entire account;
  • Close your account: synced data is removed from production systems within 30 days and from encrypted backups within 90 days, as detailed in the Privacy Policy.

06Our commitment

This charter is a promise, not marketing. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service, so it binds us legally, and it survives changes in our business: if AgroBigGrow is ever acquired, your data remains governed by these principles and you will be notified before anything changes.
